The Graphics, Screenshots and Movies make this the most-have game of 2005. I remember waiting for SH2 and Destroyer Command but ended up being disappointed by the buggy campaign modes after release http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif. Then this year I wanted to buy Hidden & Dangerous 2. After release I had to add 6 separate patches to the game and even then it still crashed during the several levels! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

My main worry that even though this game looks great, I hope there is enough time to beta test the game throughly to iron out the bugs. I would not want to see a demo because it takes away much valuable time needed for a brilliant end product.

Please God I am not a sinner, make SH3 a total WINNER! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Having waited for LOMAC for over a year, looking at the screenies and the vids and then thinking what the game actually felt like, I completely understand your concerns.

But then, I think they learned from the flaws of SH3 and the questions they answered and the facts they told us, shows, that their main concern is not the eye-candy, but a WORKING campaign, that is a LOT better and more flexible than in SH2 and includes this old and mostly forgotten concept called "long-term-motivation".

There is no game without a single bug. SH3 will be more complex like PacMan or some arcade game for PS2 and the devs are just human.

But then, you also gotta see, that a ongoing support for a game is a VERY important thing. (unlike some games, where you had to wait more than 6 month for a desperately needed patch!)

Keep the faith and be patient. SH3 will rock!

Like the other poster I too waited for Lock On and when I got it I too was annoy that I had to wait about 6months to get the "?Final?" Patch even then there were still some little ones left!

There is no way that SHIII will hit the stores bug free , you can bet your bottom $ that it will have bugs. I just hope that we don't have to wait up to 6months for a patch!

After the debarcle of SH2 I believe the Dev. team are at pains to give us a state of the art subsim that we all will cherish for years to come. At least that is the way it is looking to me, the Dev. team seem to be on the right track..dynamic campaign and all.
