But another household work, the highly propagandized Me 109G, was obsolete when it was built and was aerodynamically the most inefficient fighter of its time. It was a hopeless collection of lumps, bumps, stiff controls, and placed its pilot in a cramped, squarish cockpit with poor visibility.

Raaid I knew my SL post would get you thinking about this! Since Snow Crash (by Neal Stephenson) made an appearence in that post I will use it here as well - In that story, the main chracter (Hiro) is pizza delivery guy in real life - but in the metaverse (virtual world) he is a powerful, wealthy, influential person. I am sure that there are many Uber pilots here, who in RL are slaving away at low paying menial jobs and dumping much of that income back into high speed conections and computer upgrades. I should know - after my divorce last year I lived in my office (unknown to co-workers) and showered at the gym for a few months while I pulled the shattered bits of my life back together. I never flew as much before or since that time - I think we would all be amazed if all our real lives were here for others to see.

The marvelous thing about the species is that people are still able to annoy you no matter how little you know about them. I think it is one of the marvels of humankind. I am so grateful to <b style="color:black;background-color:#a0ffff">Ubi[/b] forums for providing the tremendous amount of empirical data for me to draw my conclusions.
