Just pretend that's what it would be like if MS created an WWI sim. I'm not sure what happened though. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Did you install the SP 1 for FSX? It addresses third-party add-on issues as well as improving performance. It is recommended that you only install SP1 to a clean version of FSX. Other than that look in the simobjects folder and make sure all the files match those in the Dr1 download. Did you install the beta or the final version of the Dr1?

Yihaa! It works!http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Thank you!

One more question: How do I turn outside Track IR off, and assign my hat switch instead?

Also, if I select time compression, and increase the selection, time will accelerate. But how do I turn the selection button back to "zoom"?

Thanks!

Well, yes, but how do I assign my hat switch to pan?

Why do people come to the "UbiSoft IL2 1946" web site for help with a "Micro$oft" game??? Doesn't "FSX" have a good help forum?

Doesn't "FSX" have a good help forum?

Does Microsoft have a good anything? The only product that Microsoft makes that doesn't suck is their vacuum.

Just... because many here are passionate of aviation.. and see beyond IL2 limitations .. That's all.

Well said.

When I want to pretend to be a pilot fighting for his life in a virtual war.. I fly IL2.

When I want to go screaming across the sky in a Tu-160 Blackjack, or enjoy a leisure flight in a Piper Cub, or do a bad weather ILS landing in a 747.. I fire up FSX

Lots of us demand and get variety in flight sims. Also, we have a top FSX expert who uses this forum, The Gozr, so its natural to ask questions here. I was able to fine tune FSX to maximum performance on my computer thanks to the Gozr tips I learned on this forum.

It just seems odd to come here for tech help on another game...I HAVE asked questions about other games here, but I was looking for the "IL2 1946" perspective on the "other" game...Example: "How does the flight model feel in comparison to..." or "If I can run "IL2" on "perfect settings" will I be able to run this "other game"...But when it comes to tech questions about "set-up" or "config" issues I always go to the "other games" forum...it just seems "natural" to me. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
