I recently had to reinstalled XP on my PC, and like a idiot, I didnt save my game settings. Sombody ages ago gave me a set of numbers for the slider settings ingame, but I'll be ****ed if I can find them.
Ive been playing with the sliders for a few days, and havent come up with anything satisfactory, so if anyone uses a MS Sidewinder Precision 2(not force feedback), could they post up the slder settings they use please?
Thanks in advance

The following is shamelessly cut 'n' pasted from the IL2 ver1.2 Readme file;

"For those who experience difficulties controlling aircraft with the default joystick profile (axis sensitivity curves in the Input menu), we provide sensitivity curves that we found more suitable for most of the modern input devices.
To set up the curves, go to the Input menu under the Hardware Setup in the Main Menu, and adjust the values according the following chart:

Pitch:
0 5 10 17 25 33 43 54 71 100
Roll:
0 3 7 15 25 35 50 66 84 100
Yaw:
0 8 19 29 39 51 62 75 86 100"

As a relative game noob and almost total "Full Real"(all switches...)noob(although I dont do anything with prop pitch/radiator/mixture etc!)I find that the only way I can shoot ANYTHING down is to use very slow stick settings like 0/1/3/6/10/15/21/27/49/85 .Now these settings would probably be useless in a dogfight (can only blackout at high speed and with flaps on)but are the only ones that allow me to hit big slow targets like friendly bombers without shooting my load(!) everywhere but into my target.I did read somewhere once that setting pitch around 92 was wise for beginners to avoid stalls.
