I just love what I have seen so far in 1.1b. just had a dogfight over water, could'nt find the enemy until I looked down and saw the spray from the prop wash as the 109 was flying low to the water, just brilliant and the dust on take off, nice touch, just wondering what else has been improved with the visual's.

I also like the over all sound and the sound of the 50cals and the bunch is a lot better.

Thanks Oleg

And what about the increase of the P40 gunsight? GREAT!

The downed planes keep smoking on the ground, creating beutiful black columns of smoke.

I love the dust on the take-offs, and if you fly around your airfield, you see your squadmates launching more dust. Great for vulching enemies while take-off!

Tnx Oleg.

But I happy that finally we can see grid references on the Mini map that are actually easily visible and now useful!

Ok it's not new, but I just noticed the suspension in the Junker 87 leg struts! I always thought it was fixed and solid, but if you look closly the suspension of the landing gear struts, the lower section moves while taxi-ing the upper part of the landing gear struts are static. My photos in my "aircraft book" never revealed this! or am I just seeing things!

Have a look at far distance landscape, and also at landscape from high altitudes. It has been improved. What a pleasure to fly low in a hazy morning /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

The little fires upon crashing are cool too...although it would be nice if they were more random....as it is now every plane that goes down leaves a hole with a fire...it would be nice if some of them left just a crater......like before

Some planes rock back and forth on their suspension as you taxi. A person could get sea sick. Great for the immersion factor.

What's wrong with P47 cockpit?

The only thing "wrong" with the Jug cockpit is that you can't see the instruments while in normal and zoom FOV , if you use wide view , you can see the top rows of instruments , still you have to scroll for a complete overview. But I don't think is Oleg's&team fault that the Jug panel was designed like that. Just my 2 eurocents.

Have you looked at its gunsight. It looks like a stop sign. Also, when you gunsight is shot up you get a wierd bug that shows 2 gunsights (the broken one and the normal one overlapping).

If you look carefully you will see that the dust cloud is caused by prop-wash, not by the wheels moving, very nice!

the planes really have to go full out to get moving off-strip now

XXX..all AI planes seem to either dissapear or self-destruct a few minutes after parking... so less targets to Vulch.......and you cannot count how many of your squadron made it back...........

I noticed that if you stand on the brakes and open up the throttle(s) the dust cloud blooms up behind you. It's great stuff.

Planes disintegrating seems more realistic - not that I've seen it in RL /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif When they lose a wing they corkscrew into the ground.

Also, maybe it was just the servers I was on, but it seems that distant contacts were much easier to see. Definite and solid dots, not just a possible dust speck on the screen.

Another thing i like about the dustclouds on takeoff, is that the 262 whips up two monsterous clouds-that look realy, really cool.

Is, imho, simply the worst cockpit of the game. The front panel is ok, but look at the sides! Look at the gunsight!
Is too plain, seems unfinished.

I dont want to offend to the creator, but compared with the other cockpits, the Jug´s is sub-par.

The P40 has a great cockpit (fridays updates) and should be not much different from the Jugs one (ok, is different but you know what I mean, the american style).

No flames, please. Only my opinion.

It also seems that when you take hits on your plane it shudders. I did not notice this before. I also noticed the FW190D9 Has a better damage model. I was shot in the right wing last night and the drag was immence. Mabey this was not new mabey I was never shot is the wing.

i don't think it qualifies as "eye candy" but the ability to see which planes people are flying in-game is a nice addition. not sure if its new from the patch, but i noticed you can tell when the p39 has its cockpit lights on from the external view. the added landing light on the '39 is nice to have too

Another thing...although not exactly eye candy, when you fire the 262's cannons, you dont end up 90 degrees facing another direction from their kick, ohh and i've been wondering now that we're on the subject of the Jug's pit, i think it looks good, but where the knobs, the ones that are like a purple red color, where they really that color? I thought they'd be a more red color...or is this only happening to me?

- Some of the Ju-87s could actural "blow" their gear struts off in case of an emergancy, and some had gun packs of them and those also could be jettisnable.
