Here's strong vote for Mozilla Firefox.

It found one thing, freshbar, related to, of all BLEEP BLEEP things, creative's product registration.

I use Firefox. Ad-Aware and Spybot haven't found anything in months.

I whole-heartedly agree! Spysweeper has proven the best so far in my experience and I love the way you can setup the shields and alerts to block browser hijacks and receive an alert when something has changed.

It got rid of an issue I was having on the family PC, that all of the rest could not. I rarely have any spyware issues on my PC, but my wife and daughter are a bit, um, click-happy and this program has worked wonders so far.

This is one program that I intend to purchase. I haven't tried the latest version, as the 30-day trial expired on the one PC, but I will install when I get home. Be sure.

I found only two more, but one of them was an IE hijacker that bothered me for months now (the reason why I switched to Firefox). Thanks for the link!

I just tried it and it picked up 28 items. I think I will drop Spybot which never gets anything and keep Adware and SpySweeper.

Many thanks for the info Lead.
