I've just installed true Pacific and I'm very impressed. It's an awesome add on that I totally recomend. I respect you because there is a lot of work doing this add on, but: why not are included a New Guinea 1943 campaing for the IJAAF? New Guinea was a very important battle for IJAAF and the best theater for Ki 61
Or maybe the New Guinea 1942 campaing is really very long and is 1942-1943? If it's so long our Ki 43 Ia are very obsolete for 1943.
Thank you for this wonderful add on http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

There are no bases for the IJAAF on the New Guinea map. The IJAAF did not get involved in the Buna campaign (the only portion of the New Guinea campaign we have the map to simulate) until the end of December. Arguably, the stock New Guinea 1942 IJAAF campaign is far too long.

The 1943 New Guinea campaign is a so called "defensive campaign" and only represents Allied defensive actions against relatively few Japanese raids over Papua. One could possibly make an airstart campaign for the IJAAF, but I'm not a big fan of airstart campaigns, so that is a low priority. At some point, I hope to make a defensive IJAAF campaign for the Singapore/East Indies map to give the IJAAF somewhere to fight besides the Home Islands.

That would be great!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif
There are a big Hole between 1942 and 1945 JAAF campaings now, because there aren't the "not historical stock campaings" and there is no place for Ki 61 (the later campaings have the Ki 84 and Ki 100, that are much better at that time).
A campaing in East Asia (defending Singapore) is a great idea: Spitfires and P 38 against Ki 61 among others. If we had a Ki 44 and a Burma map would be perfect....
