I'm tempted to take advantage of the quality colour printers and binding materials here in my office and print off the 459 page aircraft guide in glorious colour and bind it up nicely.

Anyone else done this at all?

No no no. I've never even been to your office. Honest! Anyway, you can't prove it. No-one saw me.

I've done that before with other .pdf manuals.

If you use the Adobe Acrobat Print window to set it to print 2 pages per sheet, and then the printer options to tell it to print on boths sides, you can reduce the 459 pages down to 115 pages.

Try it with just a few pages and see how you like it. It is very readable and you can see more info at a glance with 2 up printing. Then, take it to Kinkos to bind it for just $5.
