Hi,

I used to travel a lot, and also I spend some time in cottage. This is really time when I are able to relax and play some games. I was considering to buy AC2 and Settlers7 games for PC (I am action/strategy guy) but after releasing DRM I simply cannot, due to simple fact that I do not have stable connection in my cottage and on travel it is rarely cheap, so I am using only when I have to.

What is solution for me? Buy games and crack them? Isn't it ridiculous?

The other story is what in case when UBI Soft decides to take down auth servers (or won't support old games) or they go broke? I am long time player and I do not like idea of renting game for some unspecified time while I would like to play Settlers7 in 5 or 10 years. I still like to play good old games I bought many years ago.

If I as legitimate user have to make some twisted extravagant figures to play game I payed my money for.... while other can download via torrent with crack and just play.... Who than has more trouble I or them? Something definitely is wrong here.

And on the other hand, using crack is braking licencing rules... so then from legal user I become pirate... then why bother and buy game if I will become illegal user anyway? It is illogical!!!

The point is you don't have to do anything, you choose to do these things regardless of what position you're put in... anyway

Moan about the DRM here, please (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/1801042338) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

You're right http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I just won't buy and play such protected games. I wonder what UBI Officials say regarding this issue? It is hard to contact them while there are no emails and only contact is via phone... where, let's be honest, are sitting hotline people who doesn't care about UBI, it is just their job to answer some phone calls.

Better idea would be with online registration and downloadable patches. If You play illegal version You won't be able to get some good stuff and fixes. Microsoft does it on much bigger scale with pretty good success, software is software.

And it's not moan, it is just my consumer right - to have full product for full price.

I not expect You to understand this, maybe You will when You grow up...
