A device for the drawing of a rectangular flight over an unknown airfild on the map ā«The anglecircle by Vitaly Lessinā».

The diameter of the circle is equal to the diameter of complete turn of the given plane by the certain indicated airspeed and the certain angle of the bank.
The line BV marks the way of the plane.
The beam DG indicates the direction to the left traverse point by input intu the turn.
The beam GE indicates the direction to the right traverse point.
The beam ZhZ indicates the direction to the left traverse point by output of the turn.

I seem to remember there was a time thing too fly one heading so long then the next and the next and you will arrive lined up on finals
