You can find all the Original screenies here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/bighopper2008/sets/72157624438768686/) along with a few I didn't use in this sequence http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeh, the panoramas are nice. Although it does make it painfully obvious that Rome wasn't done yet in AC2. The building models are just textured boxes in most cases.

Yea there wasnt much thought that went into Roma was there. I would be bothered if Brotherhood wasn't coming out in Novemebr and diddnt even exist.

What a cheery feckin pair you two are, it's not meant to be an indepth look into Rome for christ sake.

It's a tribute to the end of the game lol

But 'Meh' is always an excellent way of giving feedback , cheers http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

The reason the buildings look like that is due to the distance between me and the subject... the closer you are the more detailed they get. much like the rest of ACII http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

All of the other wide angle shots I've done have the same 'problem'.

Heh, sorry, just pointing it out since it annoyed me on my 5th trip there yesterday. It doesn't get better when you get closer btw. Not that it matters. You're not supposed to get closer anyway.

LOL Sorry Robson mate i diddnt mean it to sound like that. The pics are all great and you ahve done a fantastic job.

Ok proper feedback then http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif.
Posotive - the essence of the city of Rome is captured in a brilliant way Smog rising particular points of interest are very well detailed too. The inside of the sistine chaple is very highly detailed the drapes and everything look really good.

Negative - then end of the game pushes the bounds of realism a little too far for me (this is the reason i find games like Halo sad) i cannot stand unrealistic gaming so therefore art work that unrealistic is not my cup of tea. But thts not your fault.

They get more detailed for me, when running along the battlements there's a few buildings that are close to the wall and they have hi-rez textures when you're close to them. Also when you first arrive in Rome you're down by the River and closer to the Coliseum which looks more detailed but becomes 2D as you move away from it.

Oh, the textures are fine, it's just that there isn't anything extruding from the buildings. Things Ezio could grab like windows or such. They're all just flat boxes with textures slapped onto them. But like I said, it doesn't matter much, since you only notice it when you pay attention to it, which you don't do in normal circumstances. Hence why I only noticed it on my 5th time there.
