I've travelled to Santa's place just to get a look at some icebergs, but nada, just frozen wasteland. Downloaded the IceIceBaby mission from Subsim but won't run on v1.3. I want to take a look at some icebergs, where are they, are they dependant on time of year?

My other sideshow quest, 20+ missions and no sign of a passenger liner! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Judging from your avatar, you could use some cold weather. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I believe I read in another thread on this same topic that the icebergs are only present in single missions, they are not present in the campaign. And they are only present in single missions that are created with them put in, none of he default missions have them I believe.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but that's about the jist of what I remember being said long ago.

I was looking at the campaign files with the map editor, looking to see what ships were in Scapa Flow. I looked up north and I could see ships labeled as "iceberg" maybe around 6 (I'm guessing from memory which wasn't good cause it was late at the time) up north, spaced out.

Given the way the weather is modelled in this game, try the Canaries

Mmm... didn't catch that match.... sharp Lego. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I see the icebergs on the RND map, I'll have to ask Doenitz for some leave and pack a REALLY big picnic basket for a LONG journey sometime.

Travelled the Liverpool - New York (just south of) route. No liners, torps expended on other targets of opportunity. Will try again sometime.

Thanks guys: http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Say hi to wife for me Eury http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
