Haven't flown a Hurri for a long time.. loads of ammo but no oomph!! I thought I'd run out of ammo here. I enjoyed the light show though - this game has some amazing effects.

First strike...

It was a mission...
That me109 was lit up like a christmas tree (you only see half of it in Scene 5 - couldn't capture the whole lot) on all the hits. I was really, really worried at the end of it as I could not see the a/c for the sparkles.

I remember reading about how the WW2 BoB pilots (RAF) felt the same after solidly plugging the german a/c and seeing no results. Also Fw190 pilots running out of ammo on P47's. Now I know how it feels (more or less) http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Nice shooting mate, good judgment of your convergence range too!

Had a similar 'hurri-aint-so-bad' period 2nite online on SpitsV109s Malta Map. An Mc.202 came gracefully to the top of an Immelman in front of me and slightly above and graciously commenced a steady slow speed climb. I sauntered up behind him, waited till I was smack in range and on target and poured rounds in to him setting his wing tank ablaze! W00t!

Not forgetting those pesky little CR.42s - they do go up in a lovely little bang when you focus some firepower on 'em! <POOOF!!> http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Unfortunately all that enjoyment was quickly scuppered whilst trying to take on an He-111. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

Can anyone say 'PK'... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/touche.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The Hurri is great fun and'll outturn most of what the blues are flying and outpace anything that'll outturn it. I had a great night once on Spits Vs 109's, flying a Hurri, I managed three kills (2 MC202's and a CR42) and promptly got lost over sand dunes, it was only through TS and following an He111 that was attacking my base that I managed to get back before my fuel ran out. The base was covered with haze but I made a perfect three point landing (more luck than judgement) and taxied in unscathed, I have good recolections of the Hurri!
