Thanks for youre dedication to us, and thanks for the great Il2 series.

I have a small sugestion how it could be even better.
The point to this post is to move the number 40 on most russian speedometers a notch to the left as it now coincides with what in fact is "The 35 notch".
The first pic is from cokpit of La7.
The seccond pic is from russian instruction for actual Il2 pilots.
The third is me visiting Leningrad.

This has already been brought up in a thread a few weeks ago.

It is still nit picky.

I'd rather him spend his time fixing flight models than moving one digit over on gauges that I hardly ever look at.

Still....admittedly....an issue.

Gee. I didn't know we had an expert on nit picky here. Waterinthefuel, start your own thread about what YOU would like to see patched then...

Good find, good catch!

Bump.

Small graphic details should be quicker and easier to fix and test than things like FM issues. Besides, the person who changes the graphic is probably not one of those that works on flight modelling so there should not be a conflict.

it really gets my girdle when people dismiss others' requests for fixes and instead promote their own wishlist. it is undoubtable that this could and probably should be fixed; don't worry about oleg and co.'s timetable. in the end, they decide what is done.

sorry about my rant. by the way, yes i would definitely like this to be fixed.

It is not nit picky that the Airspeed indicator is 50 kph off above 300 kph!!! There are some (I for one) that like to fly without speedbar and desire to actually use the instruments.

It's not all above 300.
The 50 is in the correct place.
This only concernes the 40.
Thanks for feedback.
Yes i took uppon me to make it into a mission to get an anwser from Oleg abbout this. And will continue to post treads abbout it until it's either fixed or i get a reasonable anwser.
If you dont like it. You don't.
Kinda not my problem.

On the photo of this gauge we have it as it is in a sim. So we don't plan to change. However I agree that it looks a bit strange, but anyway corresponds to 40 with horizontal line.
You simply need to remember it.

And, that to change this gauge, we will need great size patch.

So I prefer to leave it as it is.

Apreciate you anwsering this.
A bit dissapointed that is som much work to fix.
And coresponding to the horizontal line?
I dont understand. Sry.
Anyway.
Thanx a million for a wonderful sim. And youre dedication.
Keep up the good work.

Funnily enough, I noticed this on my La-7 just yesterday. Fritzkiller, I think what Oleg means about the horizonal line is that if you draw a horizontal line through the tip of the line that represents the quantity of 40(0), it will go through the actual numerals.

It's only funny til someone loses an eye....then it's hilarious

I don't want anything patched, I believe it's great as it is. I haven't complained about one thing, except some whacked out flight models that have long since been fixed. I certainly am not going to gripe about small errors in gauges.

Of course, like a Democrat, they took what I said, minus "Admittedly, still an issue" and posted it in their reply. What a wussy! I admitted it was a problem, and its still not good for whiners!!!!! HAHAHAHA! I just said its a nit picky problem! Learn to read the WHOLE reply, not just what you want to see!

You don't work for ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN do you?

Some of you people really crack me up.
