Get the new version of fraps, that can capture sound and can capture at full resolution. You have to buy it for full functionality or you can get a demo of the new one.

Here is an example video of a kill I got online last night, all done with fraps 2 and Adobe Premiere 6.5.

how to setup your il2:fb?
800x600?
what speed do you have to play the game?
and is your game fluid when you record it?

1280x1024 with all graphics to max apart from ground detail and stencil buffer is turned off. It runs fine on my machine, smooth as silk. The machine is as follows:

Pentium 4 @ 2.66Ghz
1Gb DDR Ram
Geforce 4 Ti4600 (Creative Labs)
Track-IR
MS Sidewinder 2 FF Joystick + Thrustmaster pedals
Creative Labs Audigy Platinum EX

It does slow down when it's recording, the best way, IMHO, is to record a track and play it back in IL-2 FB - then use your tool to record the video.

HTH,
Matt.
