I do not believe there are any "dedicated" 38 squads. but there are some dedicated 38 pilots out there, Myself, 310th Motrin, Worrky, bambo, 609 kahuna, aireal target, just to name a few. come hell or high water you'll usually find us in the 38

Hi Faith,
We might be forming a p-38 squad we are in the creation of it now trying to decide. The squad might be the 474th of the 9th air force.
Here is a link of real group.
http://www.web-birds.com/

You will see us in hyperlobby now with the 474th.
We use to be the 361st, now some of us might be strting this squad and fly the p-38.

This actually amazes me. So many love this plane, and if wanting to base yourself off a historical squadron there are so many colorful ones to do it by....Just in New Guinea alone under the 5th Air Force...Head Hunters, Satan's Angels, etc....Most used P39's/400's/40's & 47's as well giving a nice rounding out of planes....

Let alone the bomb groups with them like the Jolly Rogers, Grim Reapers, etc...

Just because a group is dedicated to a plane or squadron also doesn't limit the planes it can fly, or even side....Just gives a nice theme to fly by and helps promote the history of such groups.

What I'm trying to do with the 78th Hikousentai that JUST flew Ki-61's.
