I just want to thank everyone involved in creating the most incredible flight sim. I just can't get over how realistic this sim is (IL2 Sturmovic). I have a pilot's licence and I will tell you, this game above all, has got to be the closest in realistic flight. I had a heck of a time taming the Bf 109 on landing. No wonder they said it was a tricky airplane to land. That short wheel base. I think I have it down pat now. It's all in the approach. AIRSPEED. It took awile to get use to landing at high speed. I'm use to landing a Cessna 172. The approach speed is 65 - 70 knots. The plane stalls at 44 knots with full flaps. Not like the 170kph approach of the Messershmitt. Or any of the other fighters in the sim.
I really can't express the gratitude I have for you guys enough. I mean, this sim is absolutly the most incredible thing I have experienced. I have been a long time warbird fanatic, and I would almost do anything to fly one. Just the feel of having more then a 1000 horsepower at your finger tips. Anyway, I believe this sim comes so close, you could almost feel the G's.
I only have the first IL2 Sturmovic, (New family and house. No money. LOL!) and I can just imagine what the second one,"Forgotten Battles" is like. I can't wait to try it out. I am still very happy flying the first one though.

I also have to say, the Russian rocket plane campaign, absoulutly astonishing. It was an incredible insite of how a test pilot must feel. And then taking it into battle, absolutly incredible.

Once again, I have to thank you guys with the deepest sincerity. You have brought me one step closer to the dream of flying a warbird in fun and in battle. I will definatly be looking forward to any flight sims you develop in the future.
Thank you ever so much,
Willy McFlyer
