So I guess AC2 default difficulty is "Very Easy"

Not only they give you way to much money, health and armor and weapons, but its also way to easy to escape the guards without even using a smoke bomb.

Heck why even escape the guards and just slaughter them all with the super easy combat AND all your health/armor just in case you just cant seem to do combat(A child playing?).

God knows I love this game, but I just wish it was alittle harder.

*back to playing it for a 2nd playthrough*

For most games I agree but oddly enough, not here....I think you play a game like this for than just challenge. It's about an experience

Oh I agree its a great experience and thats why i'm playing it again, just doing the storyline(I already have 1000/1000 100%) and loving every second of it.

With that said there is nothing wrong with the game being more difficult. I've tried to make the game hard by limiting what I use and be more stealthy(no armor, hidden blade/fist as main weapons, using smoke bombs for Roleplay http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif) and the game is still too easy sadly.

I just hope for AC3 they add difficulty modes like in Dragon Age.

Harder difficulty ups A.I. Awarness, boost their health, increase their run speeds and increase radius,etc..

they made the escape sequences shorter because they felt that in the first game you spent too much time running away from guards, and if you want hard then go make a new file and dont buy any armor or weapons and dont do anything to your villa

what do you mean by "cant seem to do combat [a child playing]? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Before gaining the hidden blade on my second playthrough I noticed it was quite well on a pretty good difficulty, however once the hidden blade was achieved the game did get a bit easier, excluding my constant fustration at the Agiles when running away or trying to counter 4/5 times. Would be nice to gain the Auditore Cape at the begining of the game would add some more difficulty with guards.

Then Rebecca asked Desmond...we can do this the easy way or the hard way...but it will depend on where to put the plug.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
