I have seen CH rudders and visited the German site for the Simped. I think I've decided on the Simped.

But on the Simped site, I can't find a conversion to US dollars. Can someone tell me how much they are, and if this site takes US credit cards? OH, and how long it takes for delivery?

Sorry for the questions, but I would like to know how much it is in US before I order.

Thank you

Who out there has CH pro pedels?

Is there a version that has a little wider profile? I don't know if I could get use to such a narrow one. My elites just went bad, and they look wider than what I'm seeing in the CH's.

Thanks

Coffee, did you see are replies in your first thread(the search function seems messed up)

Why give up on your elites if you just need another pot or a new cable, both of which you can get from thrustmaster.

But...he he...if you dont want em, send them to me, I will take 'em. It will save you a trip to the dump. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

As for the exchange rate on the dollar to the Euro you are looking at it sitting around 1.33-1.35 USD for every ONE yes 1 " that you spend. So simple math should get you what you are looking for.

Simpeds were expensive prior to the drop of the USD against the Euro. Good Luck!

Ok, AA_Double_Tap.

I thought Thrustmuster stopped producing them. It's difficult to find them in the shops here in Holland.

Drilling_857, I wouldn't give up on the Elites, but TM does NOT sell pots for Elites anymore.

In fact by looking at they're web site, they don't sell too much after market parts anymore. If I have this wrong and you know where I can get a pot, please let me know. Thanks

Coffee, Call thrustmaster tech. support at 514-279-9911(canada). I have found there phone support to be excellent.

Hopefully they can help you.

As another option you could get a genaric pot with the same specs.(100k) at a electonics supply store and then adapt it, or adapt the pedels to make it work. Once that is done then pick up a couple more as extras.

Good luck

Coffee, try search or question at Frugalsworld (http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=8)

You don't have to ask about the Pots to TM; you can easily find and obtain pots if you are to replace it yourself. If you prefer invensting more to upgrade, rahter than using conventional pot which will still need occasional maintenance, a Hall sensor would be the choice.

For Simped, you can also almost all information you need to know at Frugals. And there's a very kind fellow named Peter, who's been helping me in communication to Mr. Hofmann instead of I write in German or call to him.

If you can afford, Simped is definitely a go.

Coffee,
Did you copy and paste my original thread from the community help pages?
Follow the links included and you will see that I have recently travelled the road you are on.
Thrustmaster not only doesn't stock parts for the RCS but they also claim to be unable to give technical specifications for them!!
You will need to buy a generic pot and modify the swept area to include only 60 degrees. Go to the 62nds site for a description of how to do that.
Good luck.
Bussard.
