Usually, I don't enjoy DF servers. Unless you have a wingman, you are almost assured of destruction. Countless times I have tried to fly alone only to get killed by the "one you did'nt see". Not that this is not realistic, but it does not make for a good time... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif
I have been playing for years, but recently got back into '46. I have only 3 kills since starting again. Countless deaths.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Unfortunately, I am just a causaly player and do not have time for a Squad. However, I still want to have fun while online.

Today, however, I played on Warclouds WF server. Good settings. Almost full switch. Flew a Bf-110G in a ground pound mission. Even had fighter protection for a change... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif Bombed the target and RTB...even got a few points for the effort! Very Enjoyable.

I guess I am just wondering if you guys have any further suggestions how to enhance the online experience....

thanks

Hop on teamspeak if you're not already. Warclouds has a good TS setup, and usually a bunch of good pilots on it.

If you're frequently being bounced without prior knowledge, you need to keep a better eye out, and maneuver your plane more to clear the blind spots.

One of my favorite things to do in Spits V. 109 server is to loiter just just outside of the ever persistant furball and wait for a P.38 to emerge inbound to target all laiden with ordinance then give em' a 20mm or 30mm present from my 109. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Seriously though, WarClouds is a good server. Though I mostly like spits Vs 109s or Zeke Vs Wildcat. I end up flying solo alot though due in part to my squad flies mainly in FS missions so those times are usually the only time we make a showing in great number. I have flown in the above full switch servers with my squadies a few times it was good times, though there usually is a number of friendly pilots to work with on that servers TS. Don't give up on em' yet. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Oh yeah, speaking of FS. Perhaps that might interest you. Check out Forgotten Skies Online War, if you like a persistant campein with moving front lines, ground advances, ~90 pilots flying at once in a single life event. This requires only 3? nights a week I think, and if you miss a mision or two no one will flog you over it (I should know, my work scheduel makes it hard for me to fly too consistantly). Check it out some time.

There is a good amount of team work present on UKded3. I am also a personal fan of Zekes vs Wildcats, Spits vs 109s, and Warclouds.

like was said before, TS is a HUGE help in creating an enjoyable DF experience.
