I think you'll have to hunt for it as edimensional have stopped selling direct. www.rightthing.nl (http://www.rightthing.nl) still advertises them and, although they're based in the Netherlands, the service is quick etc etc

As for pedals the same applies - I personally recommend CH Pro pedals a they plug in with no need for any installation of software.

By the way, they're both great purchases!

hi tonedog2005

Justflight sell the Track IR Ultra pack now:

I bought saitek pro glight rudder pedals from here:

Don't know if they're cheap or not, but service from both companies has been swift and painless up to now...
Re your name, what amp do you use?

For CH rudder pedals go here:
www.play.com (http://www.play.com)
99.99 for the UK.Its where I got mine from. For the TiR,now that edimensional have stopped selling them its a pain,as rc simulations is the only place i have seen, and they are a lot more expensive!

hmm think il hold of buyin track IR and pedals for a few months due to the cost. how long has track IR been around and do u guys reckon the price will come down anytime soon?

Yea. It`s not as cheap as some make out, tonedog. I had to do some heavy artwork to get TIr4 myself...

It seems like prices are also rising. All I can say is work or save to get the extra cash.

Also could be worth checking this site out.Its a much cheaper alternative, and one I am seriously looking in to:

There is a thread here somewhere recently about freetrack.

Me. My opinion? it costs ~ $5 to build the LED stuff if you already have a webcam, the software is free, and it works like a dream on my computer.

Seriously I never expected it to work so well, it has improved a lot over time and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon.

And before you ask: no, I don't have anything to do with FreeTrack, I'm just a happy user!

Couldn't have put it better myself!

i dont have a webcam but reckon im gonna buy one to go with my new pc. will a cheaper webcam do just as good a job as a more expensive one?

also what are people's thoughts on surround sound? i was gonna go with a 5.1 speaker system but how many people have 7.1 systems and are they worth the extra money?

In my experience, 7.1's don't offer much more than 5.1's because I only listen to a small bit of music on my speakers. Over 90% of my pc-gaming time is in headphones making my speakers moot.
