First of all, I want everyone to know how found I am of the Focke Wulfs! Anyways, I do not have the Ace Expansion Set, but only FB instead. In FB the FW-190A4 is not equipped with methanol water boost injection, which the FW-190A4 were euipped with during WWII. Is this issue fixed with the ACE expanion pack?

well, no BMW801 driven Fw190 that saw combat was EVER equipted with MW50 . i know, the most books saying that , have self some of them .
BUT original sources are saying "No".

instead BMW made an additional fuel injection, that had close the same effect.

i think this MW50 saga was stated from one author , and than other authors just "copied" him.
its like the very often readable errors like:
- Bf109E-3 had engine canon - it had never
- BF109K-4 had 15mm MG151 as weapons above engine. it never had , just 13mm MG131

Yes as Frankyboy states no MW-50 until the Dora. The A5 is the first 190 in Fb to have a "boost" system but this is not MW-50.

They weren't actually equipped. The possibility of use was incorporated into the design...but it was never used. Not until the late model FW190D-9.

The engine boost starting on the A-5, however, was quite impressive on its own. At least till they ran out of the higher grade fuel (I think that was what ran the FW190's boost system right?).

actually the BMW801 needed in general the higher octan fuel . so, boost used the same fuel.
