Press F2, F3, or F8.

Press 'Esc' while flying and click on 'Controls' to find out what a key does or how to do something.

Welcome to the IL2 community!

Welcome aboard. Did you install the whole package.. meaning Forgotten Battles>The Aces Expansion & Pacific Fighters and merge the 3? Or did you just get PF? If you only got PF then I highly recommend that you get the other two and merge them. Hit the Sturmovik Essentials link in my sig. Lots of gret bookmarks in there from other forums to utilities and the works. Also make sure you hit Airwarfare.com in that link. That is probably the prek=mier flight sim site in Cyberspace. Latly... hit this link (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/26310365/m/4591089933/r/4591089933#4591089933) to see why I suggest that you buy the whole deal and merge it.

jburtle -

I felt the same way - Take Bearcat99s advice and don't give up on the game/sim. This community is very helpful - if you search the forums for an answer to your question, you'll find it about 99% of the time.

its fun to fly/play/sim with this game/sim/title.

you will need to find/visit/utilize a few other websites to get the most from it.

we welcome/pity/tolerate your arrival with as much help/fear/smarta$$edness as we can.

please keep coming back as that might help validate our existence...or give us something new to read/reply to/or ignore.

Welcome, jburtle.

This sim/game has a learning curve that is adjustable. As soon as you learn to "fly" in easy settings you can move on to harder settings one switch at a time if you wish.

This sim takes a bit of commitment to learn, and every step is rewarding and draws you further into the sim. The user made tools, skins, missions/campaigns should keep you occupied for years if you choose to let it. Or, at least until its replacement Battle of Britain comes along. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
