that's pretty cool.

I gave on giging for a living years ago.
it's all just sh*ts and giggles now. lol
I doubt i can book anything right now. I'm hoping one of my buddies will let me sit in for a show or two.

Excellent guitar playing. I'm not sure what you were going for, but I was reminded of Satriani a few times.

I don't know many people that name their instruments anymore. I've always named my basses, Of the two I have now my main bass is named after my wife, my fretless is named after my daughter.

Good luck on finding some gigs. It's been rough in my area, with clubs closing and the scene getting diluted with junk. Hopefully our new CD, when complete, will get us some gigs.

very cool

I only listened to the first one, and i really like that harmonization towards the end

I think the song would be a much better if you added a bit of vibrato to the longer notes you hold on, specially in the intro.

yeah the intro on Remember is kinda rough. far from finnished. I'll try to clean it up with over dubs & pro tools.

Was working nights pumping gas for big trucks as a 2nd job. Lots of tour busses pull through on thier way down to florida. I was hustling window washes for tips. Famous musicians usuall tip pretty well. @ the truck stop i met:
BB
Tom T. Hall
The Coasters
Alan Jackson
Garth Brooks
Bad Company
Jackel (Jesse Dupree=AssH*le. Drummer was cool he hung out with me for 15 mins bumbing cigs off me/ lol)
& Billy Dean (who came off the bus 1/2 a sleep bare foot in a pair of cut off levi's shorts and a reba Macentire T-shirt.)

Oh and back when i was working in clubs as a bouncer i had this misfoutune to meet David Allen Coe (or as i call him David Assh*le Coe).
My whole night was spent standing by his tour bus "guarding it" like his own private pittbull.
and let me tell you. he was an absoulute D*ck about it. But all you can say is "Yessir Mr. Coe. Right away Mr. Coe." How about i'll beat you freakin *** if i ever see you again Mr. Coe. See i still get pissed when i think about it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

2 famous ppl that have an *** wipping comming from me if i ever see them again:

David Allen Coe & John Elway http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Nice tune! Just curious though, what program did you use to record with? I'm finishing mixing up a song tonight that my band recorded at my house, if you feel like checking it out go to www.myspace.com/theoverdriveband (http://www.myspace.com/theoverdriveband) in a little while and it will be up.

Good stuff from a fellow Alabamian! I live in North Alabama and I too play music. I have a jazz band and am currently working with a new R&B group too. With gas prices like they are, we are having a hard time getting some of these joints we play in to understand that the pay for musicians is going to have to go up.
