Gentlemen -

I have entered our squadron, MAG-23, in the Babylon Project at http://www.thebabylonproject.co.uk/index.php
Please visit, register and log-in if you like. This is a new site and it looks like a good place for people who like to "game" on-line and off.
Their group and website is designed specifically for squads and clans to get together and discuss the various games they play in.
They also hope to create a place to get together for the important stuff: Friendship and Sportsmanship. They are going to make this web site and forums A FULL SERVICE WEB SITE. Downloads, tatics, discusion of ideas, recruitment and SQUAD MATCHES!!!

"Big Wookie" has designated me as the moderator for the Pacific Fighters Forum section and has invited me to sit on the council system on TBP as a Ambassador for our squadron.

Seems to be a very professional site that is just getting off the ground and could use some influx from the flight sim community.

Check it out

It was the dawn of the third age of mankind, ten years after the
Earth/Minbari war. The Babylon Project was a dream given form. Its goal,
to prevent another war by creating a place where humans and aliens could
work out their differences peacefully. It's a port of call - home away
from home for diplomats, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and wanderers. Humans
and aliens wrapped in two million, five hundred thousand tons of spinning
metal, all alone in the night. It can be a dangerous place, but it's our
last best hope for peace. This is the story of the last of the Babylon
stations. The year is 2258. The name of the place is Babylon 5.

Loved that show. The Babylon Project looks to be a well organized new gaming information source for all PC gaming. Check it out

The Omega Squadron's Starfuries were overmodelled!

My girls and I are just finishing watching the last season on DVD since they never watched the series on TV. They can't get enough of it, especially the 11 year old. My wife didn't like it either, but once past the first season she was hooked. Next will be the movies and then Crusade. It just came out on DVD.

Remember that the Babylon project is all gaming inclusive.

This is what the founder "Big Wookie" has to say about PF and IL2 series pilots coming by and registering and joining:

"This site is about bringing people together from real and gaming world, offering them a site that they want not what someone decides they want. The PF part of this site is very new and will be what ever you want it to be, we make the forum and the site around its users not to the founders idea. We will add things every now and then but if you dont like them just say and we'll change them. So if you guys can give us as much input about what you want that would be great.

We will be running a competition league for PF if you want it so let us know what style you'd like it in. I'm not a PF player myself so i'm not 100% up on what downloads, mods etc are out there for you so let us know."

A Wing Commander MMRPG would be great, as long as it has nothing whatsoever to do with that cursed movie and includes the Privateer stuff, too.

Wait a minute! That's what Freelancer was supposed to be wasn't it? Or am I thinking about a similar online game that was in the WC/Privateer universe?

Although The Babylon Project website shares a similar name with the former TV show "Babylon 5", it is not the same thing.

TBP is a web site dedicated to all gamers and gaming. As I said, many of us play other flight sims and games and this website aims to provide a service to us in a central location

Anyone remember playing Elite? I remember that I was hooked on First Encounters. Really awesome game.
