I was in Chicago this past weekend. While in the downtown/lakefront area I noticed an aircraft flying above - to my amazement it was a B-17! I saw it twice again the next day. It seems it is flying from an airfield to the north of the city, possibly around Glencoe. Anyone have info on this?

Probably the Collings foundation aircraft. From their website:

7/27 - 7/30 Chicago, IL(B-17, B-24 & B-25)
Airport: Chicago Executive Airport
Location: Southeast end of field
