View Full Version : Is there a massive wooden barricade or wooden wall at the opening of the Golden Horn?

I'm not sure but I think I've seen a wooden gate of some sort that seems to open when ships go in and out of the horn in a screenshot. If this is the case then how did Ezio leave Constantinople?

I thought it was just the giant chain which was why he blew up that tower in the first gameplay demo.

yeah, the chain was meant to keep ships from getting in or out of the harbor. There was no actual gate as far as I know.

I'm in the process of finding the image I'm pretty sure it was from ACR.

EDIT: Here's another image I have never seen before but It shows the gate. If you enlarge it you can see it open in the background, or is that the military; very confused. :s

This looks more like a shipyard than the harbor tbh.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that concept art is the Arsenal of Constantinople, which has been mentioned in interviews a couple of times. It's probably similar to the Arsenal in Venice in AC2.

Doesn't the name of the image already explain it all?
