I was just wondering about how Ezio's blade actually works when he jerks his hand backwards. Is there a mechanism that pushes the blade forward when a certain amount of pressure is put onto a certain part of the blade.
Plz post your'e thoughts about this. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/typing.gif

Gotta be some sort of spring mechanism, though amazed its stable enough to be used for fighting thereafter.

there is a youtube video made by this guy who actually designed a working hidden blade. the video shows how he made it and how it works. i forget what the video is called.

I do believe that the explanation givien by Ubisoft is that it's triggered by the movement of the veins, kinda like an on/off button being pressed. Obviously the videos on youtube achieve the same affect by a different means, but as far as canon is concerned, it's via this vein movement thing.
