The Times has an interesting article today with regards to the internment of U-boats on Loch Eriboll in the North west highlands of Scotland after the war ended.

Interestingly Loch Eriboll is where the crew of the Hood spent their last shore leave before sailing to their doom. It is also where RAF crews practised their bombing runs before setting off to destroy the Tirpitz.
