I just wanted to add my openion to the debate. These revealing photo's are from the latest trade show at Comutex were the hardware giants show off there hardware.

First off, we have AMD showing off its Dual Processor. Woulnd you like a pair of these?

http://www.gibbageart.com/images/10900.jpg

Intel counters with its Dualies.

http://www.gibbageart.com/images/10887.jpg

Honestly, I think AMD is packing a much more attractive offer. Even the packaging is much better.

Next we go to the high end multi-processors. Only AMD was showing off its high density solution.

http://www.gibbageart.com/images/10860.jpg

Now, for the Intel indivigual and enthuesiest. Note that Intel is using the same packaging as its higher end counterparts.

From what I have seen, AMD is bringing a much better offering to the table with its better pachaging, scalability, and multi-processor support. Some users who cant affort AMD's higher end products will be pleased with Intel's line, even if its more money and less powerful. Soon these products will be available at your local store, but till then, you can pick up a few on the "black market" on the streets of Taiwan for about 50$ US each http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Next week, we have the grudge match of the century! ATi Vs. Nvidia. Here is a pre-view.

All I cant say is that its a very TIGHT compatition, with only ATi showing any real hardware, and Nvidia showing a lot of software with its open source drivers.

No fancy quote or cool photo.... YET

I don't know why people get so worked up over pasty Oriental chicks.

Ha funny, you call them pasty and you play flight sims and other games like the rest of us.

You could be just as pasty as the chicks.

And yes, they are hot. Just admit you like em.

They're all cute but a little to thin for my tastes... I like some meat on those bones..... The bigger the cushion the better the pushin......(within reason of course../i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif )

Man Gibbage...you promise me a FB CD case signed by Oleg and I promise you that in LESS than two weeks I can teach you how to SPELL.
What do you say?

As for the...err, "chicks"?..."rubber" and nilon clothes never caught too much attention from me.
Right now there is an auto salon runing in my country...I should come back soon and post some pictures with some...chicks...this time some real ones.

Those chicks aren't very hot. Maybe its the clothes that just dull em down. Also, some are skinny, others just don't got it. Seen much better asian women out surfing. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Yeah, I play flight sims, but I've also been going to the gym since you were at your mother's teet. I stand by my "pasty" comment.

Did Intel have any of their "Emergency Edition" chips on display?

"The Force is strong with this one." -What an ace said of RayBanJockey during a fight when he was still a newbie.

No, but Nvidia had an interesting product being displayed. A Space Heater and vaccume cleaner add-on for your PC! They called it the GeForce FX or something.
