Is there anyway to download/get the Shipwreck Templar Lair without having the black edition? I asked the guys for the black edition at gamestop and i happened to get the master assassin's edition, i thought they had the same things so i didn't bother with it. Unfortunately, i was wrong.

The Master Assassin Version is the best they can supply you (presumably) in North America.

But currently there is no way to get any of the Templar Lairs outside of having purchased a special edition and/or obtained a code for a single Lair as a pre-order bonus at certain stores.

Every so often I read a claim from one user or another that it has been announced that UbiSoft eventually plan to release all three bonus maps as DLC, but that no official date has been announced, not even a rough ball park like we have for Forli and Vanities, but I don't recall seeing any official source.

Speaking as an owner of the Black Edition, I sincerely hope that they if they do release the Templar Lairs, they at least wait until after the two DLC packages in January and February. That way they'll only be stretching the meaning of the phrase exclusive bonus content a little bit...

In the meantime, those that are interested can click here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/3011016018?r=5021036018#5021036018) for a spoiler as to what the memory is like.

I don't know how "official" this is, but this what I had read in Canada from Assassin's Creed 2 associate director Patrice Desilets.

No date, but a confirmation that they will be released at some point.

EDIT:

I found a video walkthrough of the shipyard (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck_Aa6lIYQc).
It's a little on the dark side, but it's the only one I could find...

The shipyard looks like the best replayable map in the game. Figures, it's the only one I don't have. I really don't get the idea behind making something extra available in limited territories. I would have paid extra for the Black Edition complete set of maps.
