I will start. Why does it take so damn long to get a Me-262 in this game up to it's top speed 0f 540 mph unless you dive it and even doing this it won't stay there long at full WOT! Yes I am aware that the me262 took a long time to accelerate up to speed but this is silly! I never flew a 262 in any game that was so darn slow.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I once watched a show about the 262 where an american test pilot was quoted as saying about the 262 he tested.."What was amazing about the 262 was it's "effortless speed", One only had to tap the throttle a bit and one was doing speeds of 500 mph and above."

Not here.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

you're making a big deal out of nothing. its accurate enough. however, since weather isnt nicely modeled in this game theres more than enough of a reason to claim this or that about aircraft performance, yet people forget this fact.

262 doesnt take very long to get up to speed for me.

after take off i stay low and accelerate, i dont start climbing till im well over 600 kph. then it climbs like a monkey as long as you dont pull a hi aoa and you keep your speed up. you can climb faster than than the level speed of most prop planes. once you get a little alt keeping the max speed is easy. that is unless its been changed in the latest patch, in that case NM.

This is like a weekly topic now. It'd be great if people asked it as a question....but anyways read up here:

What is the air-speed velocity of a fully laden Hurricane MkIIb... before the wings fall off?

Actually I know that... it's quite fast really... for the vintage.

Jumo's 004 idle rpm is about 8.000 rpm and it doesn't really produces big thrust at lower speeds so once you get to 600 km/h, trim elevators and keep it above that speed.

If UberD ,CS & Shift_E can come up with something like the UQMG, Mission Mate & the QMT... why cant someone find a way to implement triggers in this sim. Even if it means having to write several scenarios.. With that randomizer thing.... it could get kind of interesting.
