Ok I already have TIR, CH Fighter Stick /MS FFB2, Ch Throttle, CH Pedals and Audio FX headphones. I as pondering these two items...any thoughts on these products?

1. Audio Fx Pro headphones 5.1 - I thought about upgrading my headphones from the standard Audio FX to these to take advantage of the 5.1 aspect.

2. Buttkicker - As I don't tend to use my MS FFB as much as my CH fighter stick I was thinking this may add some more immersion factor. I've read a few good reviews but have a few concerns.

a)Firstly the cost in the UK is alot more expensive than in US - Bscially 109 - is it worth it at this price?

b) I mainly use headphones (Analog) would this detract from its use?

3)When not using headphones I use 7.1 from my Soundblaster XFI , I am sure I read a post somewhere saying that there was some compatibilty issue with the buttkicker (I've searched but cant find it)- Anyone know?

Cheers guys/ Gals for any constructive advice

My advice, (and since you already seem to have some decent gear) would be to look into BIG widescreen LCD monitors. I went from a 20.1" 4:3 format LCD Samsung to a 27" 2707WFP Dell and the added size has increased immersion and made ALL the things I do on my pc more enjoyable.

For most people, even going to a 24" monitor would be a nice upgrade.

Something to consider if you have some extra coin in your pocket and wondering what to do with it.

Hi there http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I bought a buttkicker and it is nice to feel the engine start up, guns fire and you KNOW when you have been hit! But its hard to say its worth over 100 quid. Maybe ask for it as a present?

Buttkickers are very worth it IMO. It enhances gaming, movies and music. I love mine. You did'nt mention Track IR.... Also a very wise investment as a flight simmer.

He just doesn't say which version. To that end, I'd say you want a TIR3 Pro with the vector expansion or a TIR4. Any earlier iteration just doesn't track as well.

Buy it from the US on ebay if the price is much cheaper over there.

Hello again. Dont be tempted to order from the states. Postage is about 40 then fedex customs about 20 then 240v adapter 30 (it runs on 110v)and it isnt covered under warranty http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Very sad that we have to pay 3 times as much.

Yeah I got TIR4 with clip :O) Great stuff and I also got a 24" Samsung widescreen. I did have Triple head but didnt like it at all (see one of my other posts if your intereted).

Yeah buying Buttkicker from US is a big "no no" as you just end up paying the same if not more and have no warranty /support.

I reckon the Buttkicker maybe the way to go :O)

Sounds pretty good and adding to the imersion which is great, if anyones heard or got a negative comment please speak up, good to get objective opinions.

Yeah... the only thing you are lacking is a Buttkicker.. it is nice if you have the cash.. but not a necessity. Personally I would say.. sit tight.. you have a well balanced rig there.. I would just sit on the cash.. if you can, and enjoy what you have.

Oops, my bad....
Hey another thought on the Butt Kicker... I made my own buttkicker using Aura Butt Shakers and a 100 watt amp. The speakers only costed me 30 bucks each. I use one on my office chair and the other one on my office couch. I got them about 5 years ago from a home theater sound shop online, possibly you have similiar shops around your area.
