What was the name of those super japanese subs which were 3 times bigger then comun U-Boats?

I know that they never entered into battle and that they were sunk by US in secret...

"<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> I-52, the Japanese Submarine, was one of three Type C 3 submarines that were built over 1943/1944.

This class designed as cargo carriers were huge boats, 356.5 feet long, with a beam of 30.5 feet, a tonnage of 2,564 tons, and carrying a crew of 94. The cruising range was an incredible 21,000 nautical miles, at a speed of 12 knots.

HI! I am Japanese. I am proud of we had made
like thease subs,

That sub called "I-400 calss"
Or "Toku-sen" "Toku" stand for special
and "sen" stnad for Submarine in Japanese.
As you know it carry 3bomber plane.

IJN classificated main 3types.
Over 1000 tons were I-gou class
500ž1000 tons were Ro-gou class
under 500 tons were Ha-gou class.

Hittler had sended us U-511 and U-1224.
We renamed that subs Ro-500 and Ro-501.

And surprisingly Japanese army had made
sub their self.
That sub had made for transporting weapon
to isolated island in seacretly.
The name is Yu-1 type.
273 tons. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

did u know.. the japanese had a secret plan to use the I-400 to attack the US west coast with biological weapons? the plans never came to reality because they used the subs for kamikaze attacks instead.

Nope I dint know that Japanese planed to use chemical weapon.
What I know is they tryed to attack Panama Canal
and destroy the water gate.
If it was success the ship had to go down south.
Delay to go pacificocean from atlantic ocean

the canal was also part of the japanese plan, but they wanted a last ditch effort to display their firepower with bio weapons.. thsese new weapons were tested on the chinese, but were too late to make an effective strike on the US.

Hey Thanks zaza-mushi for the interesting information about the Japanese Subs.

It is unfortunate for Japan that they were never really put to their full potential.

Yes thats correct, Also the English channel about half a mile out was to be flooded with millions of gallons of petrol and set ablaze to "fry" the barges etc that would have had the "invaders" onboard !
Also the total detruction of ALL buildings and ALL vehicles and well practically everything in a scorched earth policy was to be adopted, leaving absolutely nothing for the Germans.
note: This is not a new idea, the Russians did it in 1942 as the Germans advanced.

The houses of parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Wrens cathederal, Albert Hall, ALL the London Bridges including Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and well ALL landmarks were all to be dynamited.

The NO surrender order was to be issued as well, which meant that we would all have fought to the death.

The Germans would have ended up with a desolate rock of a Country void of anything had they invaded.

I'm quite happy about the dynamiting of the houses of parliament..pity it wasnt! LOL j/k
