Okay, i decided to try B25 pilot career but i got one major problem. How to hit the target. There´s somekind of tutorial about bombing in those training clips, but for some reason my PC crashes everytime i try to run that(he 111 that is, i dont think that Russian one helps because that sight is different?), so i really have no clue how to use the bomb-sight. So, is there any good tutorials anywhere?

There are several guides to bombing in the B-25
B25 manual bombing Guide by Drilling_857 (http://www.airwarfare.com/guides/b25_bg.htm)
and B25 Level Bombing Guide by AWL_Spinner (http://www.airwarfare.com/guides/b25_lbg.htm)
Spinners guide inludes a download with practice missions, tracks and charts.

Here's Darts excellent Training Video (http://www.darts-page.com/movies/B25_Training_Video_for_IL2.zip)

I would recommend the AWL spinner guide. It has a 12 page PDF with all you need to know. It's got B-25 training video's and special training missions. He did a very good job on putting this guide together. Even a complete moron can precision bomb targets now when he follows this guide.

That vid is actually made by EAF602_Joe90, not Dart. But it's a nifty wee vid that gives a good in game presentation of how to bomb with the site.

I've noticed something about the B-25's 12x100 load. Why doesnt it fall like the He-111s load of the 20x70 or 30x50 loadout in a straight line? Instead the bombs are somewhat dispersed.

I'm not sure about the difference between the two aircraft but I recall seeing something about the 50lb, 100lb, and 250lb bombs on a fan site (or maybe in the forum).

It stated that above 9,000 feet they lose their accuracy. If you're level bombing with 100lb bombs try flying lower (I've found 5,000 feet works nicely).

(cheers Tooz, yes made by me, hosted by Dart)

Maasi, as oft stated, the problem with the B25 is the TAS you dial in to the sight is wonky.

Once you get practice and want to go pinpoint, well, the He111 is the best bet. If in the B25, you will have to find the best set of parameters to hit spot.

Lots of tools out there to do this, no one is perfect.

A discussion over here:

http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=65710358&m=1601081072

My summary: Fly at 10,000ft, IAS 218, set TAS to 250. Bracket with 6x600lb and one is sure to hit.
