Its just some campaigns and a some skins. Dont know how good they are though and even then I doubt its worth that pricetag.

I watched a lot of those expansions kits when playing CFS1, -2 and -3. But i I am to much of a detail guy and the graphics in at least CFS1 (I played European Air War as standard at that time) and CFS2 (I still liked European Air War and it's mods better and played Mig Alley and Battle of Brittain) were disapointing to me. The clouds were bad and I looked for cloud enhancing software all over the place. Only the last of the MS series, CFS 3, came out nicely in detail, but is still very buggy (fps, terrain and hard to tweak).
I was happy that IL2 came out (looking at it's development when playing European Air War and Battle of Brittain). This was the first good-looking CFS with lot's of technical and graphical details that are much improved in FB. It doesn't need any expansion kits because it is complete the way I see it. Perhaps some terrain altering is in order, but if you see the effect of terrain details in CFS3 in low flight, you know that to much detail can make it look like toy country.

If you want a nice (cheap) surprise: see more addons for Red Baron 2 and / or Red Baron 3D (address below). RB got some nice enhancements and it will play in glide! on any 3D-card (with a special game dedicated file called 'glider'). You must however own this game. It was great to fly in those slow turning grinder machines last weekend. There were some minor terrain bugs, but glide worked on my ATI Rad9700. This game was released in 1997 and has great ground detail and sounds (doppler effects from sirenes, church bells, ground combat, etc.). Also there is interaction in the ground and air battle. I crashed on a enemy airfield and then with full alarmbells the fire department came to see what they could do. They stopped by my flaming wreck, saw and turned. Mind you, I jumped before (death) and the game was finished.
