Where can I find the loading music for Germany, USA, and IJN, on il2-1946?

Thanks

If you mean the menu music for the different countries:
[Il-2 game folder]\samples\Music\Menu

And they should all be there.

After a short period of playing IL2 the music annoyed me so much I disabled it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
I still can't listen to it when I hear it, for example, on a YouTube IL2 vid.

But B-o-P wants to listen to it over and over again, I presume??? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

lol

I replaced the GB track (Which by default is the annoying US theme) with the theme from Battle of Britain. It's now very pleasant to listen to, not to mention much quieter.

I have often thought the ultimate theme music for a Panzer based sim would have to be ACDC "Back in Black"

It'll be in the 'Samples' file in your main FB directory. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

I found the music in this sim to be repulsive in a sickening marching band sort of way. I hate it.
Jane's WW2 Fighters had much better music.

I haven't heard the menu music since maybe 2001.

I agree.

I would love to add some of that music to IL2.

I remember that music... I loved it.

A while back I was pleasantly surprised to find that one of the music packs for Silent Hunter 3 included the music from the museum section. I hadn't heard that track in several years, and I just had to listen to it several times in a row.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I haven't replaced the US theme with it yet. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I have replaced most of the music with stuff that's on mission4today (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&c=60). Some of the tracks are quite good.

I use the inflight music randomiser - a fine little utility that let's you drop whatever music/sounds you like into whatever nation's folder. I only use period music and chatter to add to the immersion. It's good stuff.

Man, I'd forgotten there WAS music. Just listened to the RU theme - takes me back all the way to when the sim first came out.

WTG, thx for the nostalgia trip http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
