It's obvioulsy the tail end of a U-boat sticking out of the water, but I've no idea where in the world this could be.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

There is no visible high watermark on this image for the water to have been at to hide the U boat. If the pier in the background is an indication of where the water should be, then the stern should still have been above the water.

This last part I'm not sure on. The U boat appears to be a type IX. To my knowledge, this is the part I'm not certain on, there were no 9's in the Med., they were too large. I'm of the opinion that this is a photoshop. From a ballistics standpoint, the boat must have had quite a velocity to stick in the mud like that and at such an angle. Such an cove would be shallow and not even deeper than the length of the boat. The boat would have just sunk to the bottom and then settled there.

In my opinion this picture is definitately PhotoShopped!!

The colour, lighting and intensity of the U-Boat is all wrong for the rest of the picture, and the reflection in the water doesn't look right either. Besides Kasier's observations sound right too.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Yeah; ......I'm thinking PHOTOSHOP also.

The rocks on the left seem to imply a shoreline. It seems unlikely that the water immediately adjacent would be deep enough to conceal a couple hundred feet of U-boat.

OK, .......so I'm a little slow on the uptake, ....but the full implication of that statement just hit me:

The word "Reservoir" usually means fresh water containment: .....how is a U-boat supposed to have gotten in there???? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

......I mean, ...well, ....If a "planted" story is going to fly, we have to make it sound plausible. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

Maybe it was on a top secret mission and got airdroped into the resavoir and the parachute failed to open?
