If you can work with .dds files and make great looking textures then read on:

I have all .dds textures files from Assassin's Creed. Yes, I found a way to take them out of the game. What you have to do is modify and/or create HD textures. That's all you have to do. You will be recognized as part of the Assassin's Creed HD mod.

please post if you are interested and we can start doing our work. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I donít think I can work with .dds files is there some type of converter out there you prefer. I might be interested but I will need more information about what textures that you need. Are we talking about character and environment textures? Also are we talking about diffuse, specular, and normal maps or different types of blended textures.

Iíll have to get some type of .dds file converter and study the existing textures but Iím interested.

There's a guide here (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide_to_modifying_in-game_graphics). It's written for GuildWars but it works the same for everygame. There's also a .DDS plug in for Photoshop and GIMP.

actualy if you read into his post he wants some1 else to do 99% of the work so he can put his name on it then give a small mention to the person who actualy did the work.

I donít have a problem with completing the texture work I just never can figure out how to extract the files. I still canít figure out how to mod M2TW so if he has the files already extracted Iíd like to look at them and possibly mod them.

Not that an Assassins Creedís mod is really that spectacular it seems everyone can just edit a few uniforms and that it.

r u kidding me. you can mod every single texture. Here just use texmod. look it up and download it.

Send me a sample texture so I can see what I can do with it or if I can edit that type of file format.

caswallawn, you crack me up (make me laugh)! Your avatar totally fits you personality, or at least the personality you present on these forums. Your cynicism, blunt criticism and I-don't-have-time-for-this-BS attitude is very funny, especially combined with that avatar! I'm not posting this as some kind of reverse psychology BS either. Quite honestly, your comments can be very entertaining, so please continue.

I have a couple of questions if you feel like sharing. Who is FYTJ? Where did you get the artwork (burning skull image) for your avatar?

Thanks.
