The best pedals are CH products Pro-Pedals. I have had mine for four years and the potentiometers have no jitters at all.

They still work perfectly!!!

While there are some good things about Saitek pedals, they are not as good in overall quality and they use cheap potentiometers. If you want something that lasts, get CH because the money you pay for them will go far. They use industrial grade potentiometers for a long, long life. Saitek uses toy potentiometers.

Well if he wants the "best pedals" on the market he would get a pair simped pedals, the saitek and CH range there is not much between them in all honesty, the saitek wins the day for me for the broader stance and leg footing, thats just my preference of course, I've had the luck of using all three funnily enough, all though I only have my saitek ones last 48hrs http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I'm with steiner562. I love my Saitek rudder pedals. I've had them for just about one year now without any problems (**knocks on wood**)and the price is excellent too. I highly recommend them.
The CH pedals are excellent too. I tried some before settling on the Saiteks. The foot spread and adjustable tension were what won me over.
Like with any Saitek product though, if you handle them roughly they may not have the durability of CH.

Does Saitek use potentiometers? I thought they used optical sensors. I don't know about CH products (never owned one) but I'm pretty sure that Saitek uses all optical laser sensors in their flight sim products...The good thing about the optical system is that they never ware-out (in theory) but I have found that sometimes the slotted wheel they use to calculate movement falls out of alignment...and then it will not center.

Overall I find Saitek products to be quite good...I like them.
