Heres another one for debate. Which Tank was the most resiliant against attacks from the air?

Omg...I'd have to say one of the Tiger Tanks, perhaps King Tiger

Stalin 2 or 3 (3 didn't see much action).

Air attack vs armour is generally over-rated (WW2 era anyway). Rockets were not especially effective as the types with large enough warheads to do the job were too inaccurate to score the required direct hit.

Sorry flak

I think all these questions of yours are too vague and subjective.

I recomend something a little more definative.

Tiger (Porsche turret), or Soviet IS-2 (a monster).

Question for DuxCorvan:
Why the Porsche turret specifically? In addition to the shot trap (less relevant vs aircraft) the Porsche turret was actually less armoured than the Henschel in some places.

I will go with either a Jagdpanther or Jagdtiger.
But if I personally had to be in a tank I would rather be in any variant of a Flakpanzer IV.Aside from its mobility and RELIANCE giving somewhat of a maneuvering ability to atleast temporarily evade into a woods if present. That way I could @least give someone some kinda hades in return.
Which brings up the Wittmann,Carius crewed armor we have now.
Why is it that when coming upon a highly prized tank such as panther/tiger they actually stop, rotate and engage!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif
Seems to me that the crews were instructed to get off of roads into the woods or into a town(perish the thought!!) quickly not and try to engage an airplane with a 75/88. This is funny.
To even see that my wing has been "neatly sawed off by a tanks main gun" is frikkin one of the most comical moments I have EVER had in any game/sim!!
