i second that .

http://www.bayern.de/Layout/wappen.gif

Bavaria is one of the oldest European states.
It dates back to about 500 A.D., when the Roman Empire was overcome by the onslaught of Germanic tribes. According to a widespread theory, the Bavarian tribe had descended from the Romans who remained in the country, the original Celtic population and the Germanic invaders.

Hi:

The CR.42 is goinf very slow, due to an overwelming amount of work this summer.

At present it is 90%+ finished. Just some more gauges and some other componets. And the gunsight. Maybe this coming weekend i will nail it.

Check out the netwings.org il2 forum for screens.

OK, I'm convinced, now....gimme, gimme, gimme.

Besides all the historical significance it will add, I like having as much variety as possible. You never know when your next favorite mount will be coming along. In real life, too./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

2 x 12,7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine-guns

Yes and they fought on eastern front.
Around 80 or so Macchi C. 200 in russia.
12 Macchi 202
Finland had 39 G50s
Hungary used 70 Fiat Cr.42s

Oleg personally wants the Mc205, dux is working on cockpit, hopefully he'll finnish it sometime so we can have a flyable 205.

That plane was so crap that it was dismissed even by the Finnish Airforce who generally accepted all kinds of planes.

It never flew in combat over eastern front.

No there were not used in Finland:

"Caudron-Renault C.R. 714 was a single-seat cantilever low-wing monoplane with wooden structure and retractable main undercarriage. During the Winter War France decided to donate 80 CRs to Finland. But when the war ended, only 6 were on the way, 10 were at the harbour of Le Havre, France and 3 on the way from Paris to Le Havre. After all Finland received only the first 6 that the State Aircraft Factory received between 24 and 28 May, 1940. The first test flights were carried out on 3 Sep, 1940. Due to poor take-off and landing characteristics further flights with the aircraft type were denied on 10 Sep, 1940. "

A comment: Finland had 33 Fiat G50 fighters in action.
The FAF Fiat fighters gained 13 victories during Winter War and another 88 victories between June 25th 1941 and June 27th 1944.

Yesssss...G.50 and Morane 406 for Finnish Campaign, and
G.50 , Mc 200 and 202 for the Italian part,they were there,
why not having in the Sim? For the Finns they were far more common than the Bf 109s , that's for sure!!
Let's keep on this request ;-)

Beautiful plane...

Wasn't it completed a very long time ago? What is preventing them from releasing it, or at least telling us when it will be released?

Wow..nice shots there....and a G.50 still flying in '43......it would be nice to receive some answers from anybody involved into the game staff....since the G50 and the MC202 are already modeled, and the MC200 it's a simple metter of stripping the Daimler Benz from the 202 and put the FIAT radial on it,not a big deal in 3D modeling...so....the interior it's quite similar to the G.50,and can have both cockpit close/open.....c'mon......

Yeah, give the italians their flyable plane. The Brits have one, the Americans have 4, soon to be 5, germans, finns, russians, polish, we all have our planes, just the Italians were left out. And add the IAR-80 while you're at it so the romanians can fly their designs too.

I'm not normally critic of the FB Team, I think they do a great work, but why more american and japanese planes have priority for the free addon, instead of the nations that fought at the eastern front is beyond me.

- Mc 205 cockpit, WIP
- Mc 200, model completed but no more news on cockpit.

Exactly: no Maddox Italian fighters doesn't mean there won't be any Italian fighters at all. Third party were almost ready with the CR.42 Falco [I believe there actually were screenshots shown at a Development Update some time ago].

So, we get the G.50http://forums.ubi.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Be sure, if we'll have also, as i hope, Spitfire in FB we could fight in the BoB with our G 50 e CR 42.

G 50 is ready; CR 42 is near to be completed, thank to Xanty.
The others, MC 200-202-205, are or had to be WIP (work in progress). But......no news about them. Radek, with his fantastic Saetta, is currently dissapeared.

Oleg some week ago said: "Give me a good cockpit of MC 205 Veltro and i'll made the MC 205 3D model".
