The appeal of the Cayman is that it is a little pocket rocket with superb handling and a "real roof"! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I'd be happy with any Porsche, even a Boxster, but the Cayman is a real dream ride IMO. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

I have to make do with my personal 'virtual' ride, an RSR, here about to go round Nordschleiffe Tourist track :P

Great pics thanks!

Honest to god I hope someone shoots Heather Graham naked in HDR. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Although these dont seem to be HDR.

Heather Graham needs to be quite still in order for someone to take HDR shots of her! Speaking of which, I want to try HDR on a human but both my old folks twitch too much ( http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ) and I can't find nobody who wants to do it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

a lot of noise in those shots ( in the dark carpet and soft hoods etc.)....what ISO setting are you using?

I love cars, but I don't have any real good car games. I still have Midtown Madness which blows...

Actually, to me, the best car game is GRAND THEFT AUTO 3: SAN ANDREAS. Plus you can get in and out of them, run and do so much stuff in that game. It almost feels so real! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Yep, I know. The lighting conditions weren't ideal so I switched between an ISO setting of 800 to 1600. Shutter speed was set to f5.6. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

well if you are using a tripod....

...oh...I suppose you are not....I thought these'd be more HDR pix

I got the photomatix BTW...very good
much easier to use with sliders for the settings instead of Photoshops curves...which are hard to get right

I love HDR photography, I really do but towing a tripod with me everywhere I go isn't very comfortable. Also, the Nikon D40 is a good camera, but it lacks an auto-bracketing feature. Auto-bracketing allows you to program the camera to take three shots at different exposure (-2,0 and +2 if you program it that way). This is done within seconds. On my Nikon D40, I need to manually set the exposure setting from -2 to 0 and +2. Quite a hassle actually. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif

Do you have a demo Photomatix version of did you pay $99 for the real deal?

I'm using the demo at the moment...
my Olympus E-1 has auto-bracket... but the steps are in 1/3,2/3,1 stop increments... so I set it to take five shots at 1 stop increments giving the +2/-2 needed....but I have to press the shutter for each shot....although i do have multi exposure to 12 frames...haven't tried that yet

Ah, I used to use the demo version until the watermark just annoyed the living hell out of me. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Good luck and keep experimenting. That's the key! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
