i hope that it will be possible for 1c to create a game that will be even more immersive than the current FB. it would be absolutely fantastic if it could incorporate cutscenes in offline play and a true dynamic campaign.
i would love to see a real briefing of some sort. anything really than the pale brown briefing screen we currently have.
while i understand that this is probably a minor priority i still hope that it will be possible somehow.
with technology advancing as it is maybe it will be possible to have the scenario set on one! huge map spanning germany, the netherlands/belgium and england. possibly a bit a of france. just imagine what that would do for real bombing missions. a hour long flight and only before you hop over the channel the escorts join you.
of course that might sound boring to some but most of the people who love sturmovik and FB are rather excentric and might love it. after all people enjoy the hours of "boring" flight from airport to airport in MSFS as well http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

another thing to make the upcoming BOB offline experience more immersive would be a news system over the course of the campaign. every day brings new desasters and it would be great if you are informed that yet a another bombing raid occured on london for example. maybe even getting a telegram informing you that a family member of yours was injured or died in an attack.

bailing over the channel and bailing in general could involve a system that, based on probability allow for the pilot to be rescued. imagine your despair bailing, not knowing whether you will make it or not and then you are presented with a cutscene of coastguard water planes landing and fishing you out of the water... or imagine you see your self in capitivity already having bailed over enemy territory but you are rescued , hidden and shipped back to england by underground resistance fighters.

those are only some thoughts and i hope that others might add more.
as it is FB is a great sim but it could do with some more polish around the edges. maybe something that can be taken into consideration for BoB so it can be incorporated straight away while building the new game from the ground up.

if it is not possible for a pay addon because editing FB might be restricted this would be a great addition to increase immersion in an offline camapign..

eskimo-FHmod:-
I agree with you. Which is probably the kiss of death/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I have said before, that for a BoB sim, Oleg should look at European Air War which had great briefing and arming screens. Not the game itself, but the design of the interface. It's all part of the immersion.

And Jane's WWII Fighters had the 1940's music and "The Museum". Would love to see an update of that theme in FB:BoB /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Can you skip over the immersive cut scenes, you know, after you see it a million times?
