My roommate works at GameStop and brought home the guide last night. If you have any questions not reguarding the story line I will be glad to answer them. For instance you can dye your robes and hood 14 different colors.

Where is weapon 22? im stuck at 21/22

And no you cannot dye your robes in one colour and the hood in the other, the colors are pre-set and sold as a whole colour theme.

Yes, it counts as a small weapon

Notched Cinquedea looks to be the best small weapon.

I just saw a video with some who had the Metal Cetus AND the Notched Cinquedea. Anyway thanks.

Also:

-Can you dye Altairs armour? Or is it always black?
-Is there any armour which is as good as Altairs, or just a tiny bit worse? How much worse?

I don't like the look of Altairs armour, so I'm thinking of going with the second best, and dying it black.

I dosen't appear you can dye armor it wll be a black/gunmetal color. The second best is Missaglias Armor and is one health square less than Altairs'

A little disappointing, but there's still Tuscany, your town, Florence, Forli, and Venice. More than enough to keep anyone busy :P"

Uh... you're kidding right?
The Vatican. Its a tiny part of the city of Roma. Its also a country.

From the screenshots, it looks like the Vatican is in Rome, but from posts it looks like Roma is super linear. So do you know if, during the Roma part, you can go into the Vatican?

Im assuming you can, as the Pope is a confirmed character.

Umm sorry cheif but I am looking at the Romagna map and the only places outlined Areocai Racidino, Abbazia di san Mercuriale, Palazzo Comunale, and Avamposto Veneziano. If it is one of those cool if not cool. As I have said I am not looking any further in the guide outside the maps, weapons, and gear. I don't want to ruin the story line.

I know this but there is no map or sections of a map that mentions ROME! As I said the map says Florence, Tuscany, Venice, Forli, Mountains, and Villa on both the World map and the small maps in the guide. I really wanna help but I don't know what to look for without reading the story and I will not do that. If it is one of those I will look deeper into it.

I've watched some video about Rome & Ezio's beard, SPOILERS up ahead:

<span class="ev_code_WHITE">For me is a big disappointment, but Rome IS Arsuf 2.0. You go there in the end of the game (memory block 14 or something), in 1499. Then Ezio is already older and he has the beard, before that in the game he doesn't have it (and all that "going to barber shop" thing). I hope I've helped...</span>

Ya it looks like your right I didn't read the story but in the background is a faint picture of Rome and you can see the colosseum. It's must be a linear mission since there is no map.

We have a final answer. Someone who played the full game told me (SPOILER) <span class="ev_code_WHITE">"No, sorry, you can not free run in Rome. You do the final mission there but you cannot access it before or afterwards". So basically it's the new Arsuf.</span> Baaaaad! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

GariStz
11-15-2009, 08:02 PM
I don't know if somebody uploaded it to YouTube, you should try to search, I've watched it live last night on Justin.tv/riccio - that guy was making a playthrough.

More SPOILERS:

<span class="ev_code_WHITE">I don't know why it isn't mentioned in the Game Guide, but it HAS a map! The guy who's playing showed it. Indeed, its a linear mission (MUCH similar to the Arsuf one) but it ends with a stealth-approach-target and then you kill the Pope (with some BIG plot reveal)! And after that the ending become quite disappointing for me...this time UbiSoft gone too far. Also disappointing was the final battle witch again looked VERY easy and similar to the one in AC1. And for what I've seen, Ezio get stabbed in the stomach but he lived (Guess that Apple of Eden makes him an immortal...)</span>

I'm really sorry that I've watched it, but thats because I was curious to see more and more because the release date of the PC version isn't even already officially mentioned and that was killing me.

<span class="ev_code_WHITE">And I didn't knew that it was the ending part, because you'll see the weirdest thing ever and suddenly the Credits roll on! I was like "What the hell?! That was the ending?!"</span>

....so otherwise I wouldn't watch it...I hope all those things I saw will make sense after I get the PC version, or wait for the Game Reviews witch will explain all that stuff...
