If the BOB game engine is to last as long as the Il2 engine has, there are certain future technologies that the developers should bear in mind.

Of course many of these do not yet exist, or are in formative stages.

However, using ones imagination, it should be possible to envisage some potential technologies and the support that would be needed in-game, and could be activated as the technology becomes available.

I shall kick-off with 2..........

1. Technology: 3d Track Ir

Needed: A true 3d cockpit with in-game limitations for head-movement.

2. Technology: High quality/resolution glasses.

Needed: 90 degree viewing with support for peripheral vision.

Please contribute your own ideas as they come!

It would also be interesting to hear from the developers on what their intentions are in this area.
