Hi & thanks for help!

Been a couple years since I flew, just DL'd 1946, my questions are:

Do you guys trim rudder, elevator & aileron?

If so when, just after take off, or do you know from experience how to trim and do it on ground?

Do you have to use CTRL + keyboard or can joystick inputs be used with CTRL key?

I can't seem to set aileron trim.

Once set for specific plane does trim remain after re-spawn?

What is the smaller circle pip in gunsight?

Thanks, any other advice appreciated!

With regards to trimming. Note that some planes cannot be trimmed and are Pre-trimmed for cruise speeds(eg: ME109).
All planes have different trim characteristics as well

-Before take off set 'take-off' trim.
-In RL where one flies within a speed window, trimming is easy, but in DF's where your speed is goes from max to min, you'll find yourself trimming all the time.
-When you sustain damage, trim to counter the damage effects.
-You can apply a bit more trim in those critical turns to get the 'pip' in front of the a/c you're chasing.
-then there is landing trim.

Well the only time I ever trim my ailerons is when one of me wings are damaged.

I only have rudder and elevator trim mapped (Not enough rotaries http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif), but mainly I only use elevator trim. Rudder trim I'll touch once or twice, but I'll be trimming the elevators on the fly, especially in dogfights.

I think trim is already mapped by default, check your controls to make sure. (Should be the Numpad keys, I think)
