The server for inexperienved players was, IMHO, a limited success.

I started it about 7pm and closed well after 10pm. Quite many people visited it in the meantime, maybe around 20, and most of them were glad with it in a way or another. There were no knee-breaking newbees, at least I did not detect anyone who would be more green than myself http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif/ Also, no gray haired veteran appeared to give us instructions.

There were 1-on-1 fights only, and I encouraged a discussion after each fight to discover flaws and good moves on from each party. Some people had problems with that, I don't know why. Nevertheless most people were ready to say some words about how it looked from their side. So, I have learnt much and I hope other participants also.

What didn't work was to make the other flyers watch the two fight. Usually people were busy taking off, landing, or getting into a position instead.

The other point is, the athmosphere started to be most amiable in the last quarter of my time... I was really sad to tell all those people (many of them just arrived) that I was closing. But it was sunday evening, and I must earn my living you know.

I will be putting the NOOB Server either on tuesday or wednesday online again, and the on friday probably - so as not to be forced to switch it off that early.

Anyway, my gratitude goes to everybody who contributed to the creation of this server, encouraged it or participated in it. Also, any comments are welcome, in order to make the server (or its organization) more effective.

After eating an entire bull, a mountain

hunter came along and shot him...

Hi all,

the next session will be on Tuesday 8pm German (or Central European) Time (GMT + 1).
On HL.
