Looks to me that your CD is scratched. If that is the case you are going to have tough time recover it (there are some stuff that can make your unreadable CD work again).

Other than that it also may be that you have enabled the 'protection' from copying. If you have CloneCD, Alcohol or similar Image mounting program; also may be DVDRW.

Really don't know. I have DVDRW, but it works perfectly for me. Maybe some folks around here can help you.

Do you have DVDRW?
Is your CD scratched?

Don't know really. Try to make image of PF CDs. If that works, mount them and install from images. If you have Nero Burning Rom installed, you should have Nero ImageDrive. Enable it (by clicking on icon), and mount image(s).

I have read somewhere how to 'save' data from scratched CD, but I have never do that myself. However there are several programs on the internet that can do that for you (they aren't free, BTW). I'm more into 'hardware' solution of this problem -- the procedure is that basically you try to physically remove scratces from CD surface, so that CD surface is flat again. And readable. I'm not familiar with details.

I really don't know what else you can do http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif.
