New to the Ubisoft forums but a Senior at Epic Forums and I have a few questions.

1) At the Epic forums, developers really read ideas and reply to others posts. Is it the same here?

2) And is it appropriate to post ideas about future games in the AC general discussion?
Ex: Assassin's Creed 3

3) I also see there's no "fan art" section, I draw a lot, if I had some cool AC art, could I post here?

And to stay on topic:
Has the graphics been updated for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood? They look different to me.

Welcome to the forums!

To answer-
1) Not really.
2) You can but there are a lot of threads about it so don't bother creating new ones.
3) There is somewhere. Just check the stickies or use the Find button.

And apparently the graphics have been updated a bit. Hopefully it means less glitches http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Firstly welcome to the forums..

1, yes.. from time to time ideas are reported back on, part of my job is to do that and the team look at them - the devs also post from time to time.

2, yes - Please post ideas etc here:
Assassin's Creed 3 (and beyond) #2.0 (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/6831010868)

Okay they might read ideas but they don't tend to take them into account. I mean people ask for more stealth in Brotherhood, so they give us more aggressive combat http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

But I do quite a few reports and feed back ideas and suggestions and they are looked at, which is what was asked.

The game developers have a very firm idea about what they want in their game, also not all suggestions are practical to put into the game.

In HAWX2 though, the devs took a lot of the feedback into account, adding in features were they could.

Thank you my good man, appreciate the respectful reply and the information you've provided.

And yes, the graphics look polished, and I noticed they fixed the "rad-doll twitch" after the death animation. You know, when you kill someone and they fall to the ground in a predefined manner, but a second later they go rag doll but twitch as they do so.

by the way, I've been a dedicated fan since Assassin's Creed 1 but never have I thought about joining the forums. It just never crossed my mind for some reason.

Thank you too sir. Sorry I just skimmed through and didn't notice there were sections for those.

You really helped though and I'm sure I'll enjoy these forums.

I'm all for improved combat, and I'm all for the aggressiveness, but a lot of people on these forums wanted more stealth, like it was intended for the first game. Ubisoft have done the opposite.

I noticed that an Assassin wouldn't just stand behind a wall or on top of a roof. I believe a simple little cover/crouch system would be really nice.

Actually, you would be surprised how stealthy this game engine allows you to be. With skill and a LOT of practice of course. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I agree. I'm all for improving the stealth and making it the utmost central pillar of gameplay that Assassin's Creed incorporates. However, improving the combat isn't really the opposite of improving the stealth. Removing scenarios where stealth can assist you would really be the opposite. Although I can see how you would get the idea that improved combat would weaken stealth since a player is more inclined to use the combat system rather than the stealth system if they don't expect the former to be unintuitive and uninteresting.

Any way, I see this steering a little off-point from the actual topic so just shoot me a PM if you feel like continuing this discussion with me.

I think that would be enough to please a lot of people wanting that!

And @sackboy - They do sometimes, as Shade said, especially with AC2, they took a lot of suggestions people made on board and used them!

But like theKyle said, this is steering off topic.

Maybe it should be closed since you got your answer??
